Startup Support – Finance

Having worked with a number of clients in the startup phase of their business, a key question is when is the right time to hire a CFO. This is a significant investment for a small business. We find that a full time resource is often not necessary. At Monahan Advisory, we provide consultancy in the area of Finance. This allows the business acquire the services of a CFO on a part time basis (often just a half day or full day a week), yet all requirements are met. We assist with financial control, financial management dashboards, cash flow and profit projections, fund raising and capital restructuring.

Data Analytics

Our services include supporting your business through data analytics. We believe in the process of data to information to insights to actions. Often businesses are drowning in data and are struggling to get value from the data they have at hand. We first get an understanding of the business and what are its objectives. This allows us gather the right data and convert it into meaningful and digestible information. From here, we gain the insights; basically, what is this information telling us and how can we use it to our benefit. From this, comes actions. In order to derive value, action based on the insights garnered must be implemented. Monahan Advisory can assist at all stages of this process.
